Why Blog?

I finally decided to take the plunge and start writing down my thoughts. People are constantly asking me for advice, opinions and ideas, so I thought this would be a good place for me to ramble on. Thanks for taking the time to get to know me a bit better and for giving me a bit of your day.

I’m married for what seems like forever to a great man. He lets me do the things that I dream about, and accepts the costs and consequences that come from my choices. For that, I’m forever greatful.

I’m a Mom to many kids, some mine and some belonging to others. Throughout this journey of child wrangling, I’ve experienced many things, some really good and some really bad. I’ve been forced to look at life differently than most, and have learned some fabulous things along the way.

My goal is to help other people as they power through their days with kids and life. I’m hopeful that you’ll be inspired by choices that I’ve made and learn from my mistakes. Be prepared for hints and tips, laughs and tears, and a little bit of crazy.

Be warned, I am not a professional writer and I do not claim to be one. If you are bothered by bad grammar and long run-on sentences, you should probably stop reading now. If not, I hope you are amused, inspired and encouraged by my life and my words.

I’m not a mum and yet I feel very drawn to your blog. You are very interesting and just the kind of writer I needed to find today. Have a nice day!
